There has been a palpable buzz surrounding the golf community this week — and rightfully so.
Finally healthy after four back surgeries, Tiger Woods looked like the Tiger of old (not an old Tiger) on his way to coming one-stroke shy of winning the Valspar Championship last weekend.
Wearing his iconic black and red Nike uniform, Woods generated the attention of avid and casual golf fans alike on Sunday. With fans glued in on Woods – his swing, his health and his attitude — the tournament was NBC’s highest-rated regular PGA Tour event in five years.
Is Tiger back?
That answer remains to be seen, but we will find out soon enough. The PGA Tour’s most prestigious event, The Masters, is quickly approaching, April 5th-8th. In a few short weeks, all eyes will be on the 42-year-old Woods to see if he can recapture the magic back that led to an astounding 79 PGA Tour victories.
